Located in Karangasem Regency (2 hours drive from Denpasar) Mount Agung is the highest volcano in Bali towering over 300 meters above sea level. The Balinese believe that Mount Aung is the central axis of universe and therefore regarded as Bali’s holy mountain. As it is holy to Balinese, you may find Besakih temple standing on the slopes of Mount Agung. This hiking trail is suitable for the experienced hikers with high level of fitness. Quick weather condition change may occur during your hike yet beautiful view is waiting at the top.

Get ready at 1.45 AM to be picked up at your hotel and we will directly head to hiking start point.
Our trained and well-experienced guide will greet you and assist your hiking trip.
Begin ascending to Mount Agung’s summit. There will be a quick rest time in between of the trip.
Once reaching the summit, we will rest to enjoy the picturesque sunrise and surrounding views while savoring breakfast before descending to the start point.
Descend to the start point. Return to your hotel.
