Visit Palangkaraya, a city full of history and ecotourism efforts. Being the capital city of Kalimantan or widely also known as Borneo, this city is a blend of nature, culture and modernity. Visit Balanga Museum to see the traditional culture of Dayak Tribe. Head to Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation, to observe orangutan in their rehabilitation center and visit orangutan at its pre-release island at Palas Island. Day 1 – Pick up at Palangkaraya Airport, transfer to the hotel to check-in. Go to Bukit Rawi Village and Sigi Village to see Sandung with unique carving and local activities. In the evening, have dinner, then back to the hotel to rest.
Day 2 – Head to Museum Balanga to see the culture of Dayak People. Go to Tangkiling area to visit Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF), see orangutans in their socialization cage. See the orangutan in their pre-release island in Pulau Palas and Kaja Island. Return back to the hotel for dinner and to rest.
Day 3 – Leisure time before transfer back to the airport. Warm farewell and see you on the next trip!
